BRYANT "BOSS" MITCHELL, SR

Bryant "Boss" Edward Mitchell, Sr, 44, of Bastrop, LA departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at LSU Ochsner Medical Center in Monroe, LA.  Mr. Mitchell was the Owner, Mortician and Licensed Funeral Director of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service in Crossett, AR, and Mitchell Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA and Mitchell Funerals and Cremations formally of Winnsboro, LA.  He had worked in the Funeral Profession for 30 years. He served families with dignity and professionalism throughout those 30 years.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 12 noon at the Morehouse Baptist Association Building in Bastrop, LA. Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon before the service.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Abundant Life Evangelistic Ministries in Winnsboro, LA,  from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.  4:00 pm to 5:00 pm will be for Public Expressions and Encouragements.  Burial will follow in H. V. Adams Cemetery in Bastrop, LA., under the directions of Kings Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
